What does it mean when your dog’s skin darkens to a brownish color & she does not even scratch?

After taking her to the vet she usually bruises at the sight of the vaccine and her skin darkens. Now, it seems that her skin is darkening all over with some areas looking like freckles. She is not acting abonormally ie licking excessively or scratching. I am planning on taking her to the vet, but wanted to find out if anyone has heard of anything like this before.

What natural items can I give my dog to help with dry skin?

I have special shampoo for dry skin but I do not know how well it works considering that everytime he gets a bath it drys out his skin even more. Okay… My dog eats Nutro Max Beef and Rice dog food. It is all natural and is a high quality food. His mother has skin problems and that is why I want to nip this in the **** before it becomes a huge problem.
